Cannot verify HBO Max subscription

I am trying to use my HBO Max subscription, which is listed as included with my unlimited plus plan, but HBO Max keeps saying it cannot verify my subscription.

I have checked my att account details repeatedly and HBO Max is listed as free with my plan. 

How do I resolve this issue?

Are you just typing a username and password into the main HBO Max login screen or are you choosing the "sign in with provider" option?

Hello cmace420! We can help you log in to HBO Max.

 

Thank you to the ACE for their helpful input. 

 

We do need a little more information to ensure we are providing you the correct steps to take to log in to HBO Max:

  1. Which wireless plan do you currently have, so we can be sure it is included in your plan?
  2. How long have you not been able to log in to HBO Max, to see if this just start happening or have you not been able to log in at all.

Also, when signing in to HBO Max with TV Provider:

  • Choose AT&T and enter the AT&T user ID and password.
  • Select Sign in. You should see HBO Max load on your TV screen. If it’s your first time signing in, create your HBO Max profile. It may take up to one minute.
  • Choose your profile to start streaming.

I am offered HBO Max through my wireless plan, which was stated in the initial post.

We can use a little more information. 

 

Are you using the same login credentials that you use for your myAT&T? You want to make sure you are using the same log in to be able to access HBO Max. 

 

Have you logged into your HBO Max before? If this is your first time signing in, we do recommend trying to activate your account through a web browser and not the app. You will log into your myAT&T account via web, look for Activate HBO Max, click Activate, download the HBO Max app, then sign in with provider.

 

If this is not your first time activating your account, please log in using the web browser. You may also clear your cache and cookies before trying to log in. 

 

You may also reach out to HBO Max Support for additional assistance with logging into your account.
