Payment options for HBO Max (from outside US) - Need help

Hi

Need some help with paying for HBO subscription, I have a VPN and can sign up and access HBO Max, but I do not have an American credit card, nor an android phone, I have a windows laptop and apple phone if that helps. Can anyone help suggest ways I can pay for HBO Max (if possible?). I am in Canada. I do have paypal (if that also helps).

Any help/input is appreciated, thanks

Hey there @sovike77, we'd love to provide options on how to make payments towards your HBO Max subscription.

If you signed up directly through the HBO Max website, you can use any of the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please note that your credit or debit card needs to be U.S. issued and support automatic recurring payments.

If you subscribe through...

  • TV or mobile provider: Check with your provider to find out which payment methods are accepted.

Please be advised, that you can check with your app store (AmazonAppleGoogle PlayRoku, or Samsung TV) to find out which payment methods are accepted.

We hope this information helped and feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions or concerns!
