Sorry @ATTDigitalLifeCS and ATT Corporate.

 

You dropped the ball on this...

Charging your remaining customers additional fees, for what should have been included in the service is insulting.

As an example, I bough 7 cameras from you for over $1000, and pay an upgraded $10 every month for the "Camera Package".

For almost 2 years, the system has been extremely unreliable, and videos were often not even available to users (very well documented in this forum), and despite multiple requests for credits, ATT refused to compensate any customers for these constant outages.

 

You've been aware for years that 250Mb was completely insufficient storage for "customers" with multiple cameras, yet you offered no addition capacity or other solutions.

 

And now... You're asking us to pay ADDITIONAL fees to essentially provide a usable storage solution?

I feel (and so do many others), that ATT has a complete disregard for their customers.

Nickel and dining us for storage above 250Mb, in this day and age when cloud providers routinely offer 5Gb of free storage is absurd. 

 

This is DEFINATELY not the solution I hoped ATT would offer for the past 18 months...

I only knew about it when I called to cancel the service and when I complained about the 250mb capacity issue i was magically given 1GB plan for free.. so no you don't have to pay for it and you shouldn't... However I am chastized almost everytime I call and a rep looks over my account. They say stuff like "THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT!!"... Don't hate the player hate the game. I'm almost done with it anyways. I just wanted to see how good I could get at screen scraping my own data.. I'm now able to download my own videos in mass quantities at once anyways instead of one at a time. Can't wait for that cease and desist letter. 

 

You guys get the news about peoples bill out there quickly but news about your features fall pretty short quickly

I have 7 cameras, so am interested in 1Gb of storage.

@ATTDigitalLifeCS - Is this something that can be done via chat or a phone call?

I’ve been complaining about this for over 2 years! I would have never signed up if I knew. I’m glad to see the change but I hope I also can get the upgrade.

How may I get in on this also.  I spent a great deal of time on chat with someone who seemed to have lead me to no resolve on this very issue.  For years I have wanted to have several videos of importance to me. I struggled to get through 200+ videos last year, so to see my son!! He is away and miss him so.  At number 33, all videos disappeared!! I was told by whomever at AT&T, “You deleted them!”  I was crushed.  Now, I want the videos of when my little girl walked are long time family pet who died this week due to a dog attack. And tho my device data says I have 250mb, I can’t view a single one.  Somewhere in those videos  could possible view my elderly parents, who  I just connected with and am without any type of image of them.  These video needs are not always for viewing some bad guy! Not for me!   I pay on time and never pester for help but I am ready to have it pulled after all these years and still am not able to have what service I feel paying for!!

My apologies for the writing errors in previous comment.  Even the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with AT&T is not something one can hope for in all options given. My hour and 20 minutes, yesterday, on the phone, 4 employee transfers, the call dragged out suddenly ended with the call being terminated, while on hold! I was disappointing!!  I woke today with a charge on my account for a service I do not even want or need.

@DLmyDowner  Hello, I am sorry you are having issues with the video storage system.  Please clarify for me: do you still need the upgraded storage added to your account, or is the storage upgrade not working properly?  Send me direct message with this information and your account number so I can have someone look into the issue for you.

First, check your free space. You can do this by going to Settings, then General, then Storage & iCloud Usage. This will give you a clear readout of how much space you have, with one additional click on "Manage Storage" giving you a detailed look at which apps are taking up the most space.

Hi @ATTDigitalLifeCS ,  I have 8 cameras and probably make it 2 days before my storage starts to delete files.  I have to have certain cameras not even record on motion or I would not even make it the 2 days.  What do I need to do to get the 1gig storage.  That would at least allow me to set up new programs with the cameras and have the storage to save the files for more then 2 days so I could look back over them and save what I need.
