Unlock Cisco 8861 Phones

I have 4 phones purchased that came from a lawyers office in Dallas, Tx. I need to have these phones unlocked from your service so I am able to utilize them here on a different carrier. How do I do that and will you PLEASE assist in getting this completed? Thank you.

Hi @GrovesCleaningService, we understand your concern, and we're here to help with your landline phone inquiry,

Please find the steps below to unblock on a traditional landline:

  1. Press *, dial the 10-digit number you wish to remove, and press * to confirm
  2. Repeat for each number you want to remove.

To unblock on VoIP service:

  1. Log into your account via att.com
  2. Hover over the banner and select Home Phone then Manage Features
  3. A new page will open and you will see a list of Features. One of those features is called Call Filtering. Click on the drop down and the following will be displayed.

Let us know if this helps. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Sounds like you need to contact Cisco. These are IP phones and I assume you're saying they are registered to an AT&T IP address, for SIP trunks. But I'm not positive that's what you're asking. I do know your not talking about AT&T landline traditional or digital which @ATTHelp gave you instructions for.
