remove landline service from building
i own a building and want to have the existing AT&T service lines removed. I called AT&T on February 6, 2023 and was given a "Ticket Number" PX85DV07. Nothing has been done. I attempted to call to check on the status of the removal and could not get a response from any of the representatives I spoke with, was repeatedly transferred to one department after another and was ultimately transferred to a number that resulted in the call being disconnected.

We understand that you're ready to get the lines removed from your building, NFredoniast441.
To check on the status of the ticket, you'll have to call our POTS repair team at 866-410-7414. If you need help with anything else, let us know.
Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community Forums.

Aminah, the number you provided, 866-410-7414 is no longer in service. The recorded message said to call 800-288-2020. I have been using the 800 number and keep getting the ATT machine run-around. Two days ago I finally got thru and established a service ticket #pe51qn64 and was told ATT would call within 48hrs to schedule an appointment for removal of the abandoned POTS connection to my house. ATT has not called to schedule the appointment. Today, I finally got thru to a live rep who attempted to check on the status of my ticket. After a long while of the rep trying to connect with someone, my call with the rep was disconnected! - This is extremely frustrating.
