No dial tone

If a cordless phone, confirm that it has power.  Push the green button if needed.

Check that the phone is plugged in to the jack.

Check another phone.

If POTS, plug a phone into the NID test jack.

If VOIP, check the VOIP terminal

No Dial tone bought new phone new cord AND STILL nothing this ismy grandmothers home phoneand she needs this fixed
