My landline is fixed. Called ATT and waited half an hour for someone. Run some tests and it works again. Told me that my phone is connected to wifi. If happens again, restart wifi modem (a solid light in front indicates working normal). Hope it helps

Connected to the ATA via Internet at the back of your modem, not Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is a function of your modem to connect things wirelessly. If it happens again now that you know you have digital service, try resetting your modem.

This is a user forum, not AT&T support no one here can test your line.
Traditional landline test from the NID with a known working corded phone, if bad at the NID report to the company.
