ATT voicemail is interfering with my phone voicemail, causing calls to be missed

If you have digital service you can access the phone features in your Myatt account and turn VM off.

Well, I turned off the ATT voice mail, but still the Panasonic landline  answering machines are not accepting messages. Tried on two different phones, guess I will have to contact Panasonic....
