ATT Digital line won’t make outgoing calls

When I call out it tells me to call the 877 activation line. I call it can it tells me it’s already activated. I have had this phone number for years.

Sure is.....We had a recent storm that blew my modem up.....they sent me a new one and a technician had to come out and do some things because the modem would not connect broadband.
Ever since then my phone will not let me make outgoing calls, but I can receive calls.

did the tech provision you new modem for phone?

I believe he did because the new modem works now.....the internet works and the phone line has a dial tone and can receive calls.....but just can't make outgoing calls.  I do have a technician that is coming out tomorrow to check everything.

check your phone to see if it was accidently switched from digital to analog, my phone has a switch on the base that gets bumped every so often

Checked the phone and it does not have a button to switch....so it is digital.
