We're here to help shed some light on your options, @Daniel bourgeois sr!
If you are in a qualifying household, you may be able to reduce your bill by getting a Lifeline benefit on your home phone service with AT&T.
You may be eligible to receive the federal Lifeline benefit that lowers the cost of AT&T home phone or wireless phone service (AT&T does not offer a Lifeline benefit on internet service). Eligible households will receive $5.25 per month off an eligible voice service. Qualifying customers who live on federally recognized tribal lands may receive an additional $25 per month off their service. There is only one benefit per household, not per person, and a household can get a Lifeline benefit from only one provider.
Please apply online via the National Verifier. You can also download and print a copy of the application. Once you have applied and been approved by the National Verifier, call us at 844.887.2769 (Weekdays, 8am to 8pm, Eastern Time) to see if AT&T offers Lifeline at your location.
Feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!
