How do I port the old landline number to the cell?
I have my old landline number that I haven't used in years that I want to port to TMobile. It shows as available. But I've been calling for two days to ATT to get a PIN. Getting transferred between multiple people who have no idea what is needed to be done and eventually I get disconnected. Is there an email or specific phone number to get this done? It is getting quite frustrating.

See this topic for PIN on a traditional landline. As stated by @Constructive the account must be active to port.

Thanks guys. So even if the number is not in use and the check says that it's available, I still can't get it? In that case, if it technically doesn't belongs to anyone, can I request it?

You make a request to T-Mobile, but I doubt AT&T will release it to them porting is driven by the account, which there is none.

no there is no longer a way to request a specific number whether being used or not, numbers are randomly generated by computer
