Forum answer contains bogus information
Attn: we need a human here not a computer providing false information such as:
Under my previous post titled "Trying to call AT&T customer service on phone", you told to go to this link https://www.att.com/home-phone/landline/
to "Check the landline availability in your area". That takes me to a page that there is no option to check a specific address for availability like it used to be. Where is the availability checker located at?
Can I choose the phone number for landline? Also, a recent number disconnected within my family, can I request a specific phone number?
Signed,
NeedaHuman AT&T agent with knowledge of landlines

There are no bots replying to posts. That post directing you to that page was posted by an ATTHelp person, not a computer. Sorry to say but finding an AT&T agent with knowledge of landlines is not easily done.

If AT&T wants to fix their poor customer service, they'd have trained humans that you can speak to or a monitored forum or a chat service with US based reps responding. I dont need responses with general help pages etc. that anyone can find with a search engine.

Does AT&T even install new landlines now-a-days?

CalebP, I've posted what I needed but so far just crickets and responses like yours claiming you dont know what I'm writing about. Did you read my previous posts? Read up bud - that's called good customer service.
