Email From ATT: "Don't forget, you have HBO Max"

I received this email recently confirming that I have HBO Max included in my current plan, I just haven't activated it yet. After an hour of trying to login and contact customer service at ATT, I was told I don't have the Elite plan, and the only way to get HBO is if you have the Elite plan/s. The email (which was sent from ATT) was totally false - even though the email states: "You already have HBO Max included in your plan". 

Has anyone received this email or was told that they have this HBO Max subscription when they actually did not?

Sounds like you only checked your wireless account. Do you also have Internet or TV through AT&T? Either of those could be the reason you get HBO Max also.
