Good afternoon, Gcmcc! We understand that you are having a problem with a message on your TV that says, "Wi-Fi unstable." That is very strange and we would love to look at that with you.

Now to make sure that we start off the right foot, when it come to troubleshooting, let's get some answers to the following questions:

  1. Is your home Wi-Fi provided by AT&T?
  2. Are you using a device such as a mobile hotspot?
  3. When was the last time that HBO Max has been working properly?

If the answer to question 1 is "Yes," then what we want to do is do a reboot of the AT&T equipment.  Please follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the AT&T internet equipment from the power.
  2. Wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
  3. Wait for the lights on the AT&T equipment to go stable again.
  4. Using a lap-top or desktop, make sure that you are connected to the internet.
  5. Reboot the TV and make sure that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  6. Try using HBO Max again.

Please let us know if these things work out for you.
