Have AT&T Fiber 1Gig? Nice! You get to enjoy HBOMAX

HBOMAX is no longer included with new AT&T Fiber Orders. If you have HBO MAX with your current 1 Gig service, it will remain as long as you do not move or change plans.

How to stream HBOMAX

Once the app or browser is open:

  1. On the app, select the person icon.
  2. Select Sign In Through TV or Mobile Provider.
  3. Select AT&T.
  4. Sign in using the same ID you use to sign in to your AT&T Fiber account.
  5. STREAM!

Don't know your AT&T Member ID? Find it now

You can also stream on popular devices like:

  • Phones & Tablets
  • MAC & PC
  • Streaming Devices
  • Gaming Consoles

Control Who Watches What

With HBOMAX you can:

  • Create child and adult profiles
  • Control who watches what

Heads Up: only 3 streams can be used at one time.

Sign In Issues

  • Make sure you activate your HBO Max through your MyAT&T account. Once logeed in, you'll see an option to Get Started.
  • If you don't see the option to Get Started go to http://att.com/acctmgmt/startwatchinghbomax
  • Try using a computer for registration. You may need to clear cache and cookies.
  • Make sure you are using the right login. It will be the same one you use to view your MyAT&T account.
  • If you upgrade or change your AT&T Internet Service Plan, you will lose HBO MAX
  • If you move to a new address, you will lose HBO MAX

If you have AT&T Fiber 1Gig, you get HBOMAX. Check out the info above to learn more.

no, we don't. Judging by the comments and my own experience. "It looks like your AT&T subscription does not include HBO Max. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact your provider." is the message we keep getting and the same canned response and links that go nowhere.

Figured it out. You have to sign in to your ATT account on a desktop and activate the HBOmax benefit through there by clicking the "YOU have HBOmax" banner. I could not do it on my mobile app. This helped me and hope it helps you.

This worked for me. On the account overview page there is a section that says "Included on us with Internet HBO Max". I clicked the link and it activated HBO Max for my account. I did this on my mobile device through chrome.

I'm glad it worked. Each time I tried it through chrome on my mobile device, it kept kicking me to the MyATT app, which made it not work :-P

I've got no such banner on mobile or desktop. I did have a banner as such in myatt app this morning, but when I clicked it, it tried to go to another page and gave me an error, and now it's gone.

but when I look at my internet plan it clearly shows Internet1000 with hbo max included......

It doesn't work. I get "It looks like your AT&T subscription does not include HBO Max. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact your provider."

Service Code: H-1949c01c-4840-4029-c41b-37becbdd168d

If I try going straight to it from my att account, it let's me in to actually see videos, but if I click play on any video, it just fails

@melkemind Did you select AT&T as your provider when you signed in?

Yes, that's where I received the above error message.

One more question, is the att.net email address you are using the same one you use to sign in to your Fiber account?

Sorry for the redundant questions. When our teams ask "are they using the right info", we have to make sure.

I don't have a mobility account. I only have 1Gig Fiber Internet. As far as I know, I only have one att.net email, and that's the one I used.

I'm having the same problem. On ATT website where I pay my bill, I can sign in with my regular e-mail OR the att.net e-mail and both work fine. But when I try either one with HBO Max, they both say it cannot verify the subscription even though I select AT&T as the provider.. Even though I have internet 1000 fiber and it says I qualify for HBO Max.

I've got att gig internet, trying to sign into HBO max doesn't work. Get

Service Code: H-95719ee8-affc-41da-db4e-7edfb44da468

message that it can't be verified with my provider.

Resetting password did nada.

I am also unable to log in using my ATT account. I have ATT 1000 plan. I tried to log in using both member ID and email (@att.net) but no luck. Also, I tried to reset the password but still can't access it.

I have 1gig fiber and I am having the same issuer as other posters. I get Service Code: H-acce9e7c-0fa0-4b84-e73b-6951b5311742 when I try to sign in with my email address.

I am having the same issue with signing in on the HBO app as well. AT&T's website says to go to my at&t account overview and select the "Get Started" in the HBO Max snapshot. But I do not have an HBO snapshot when I go to account overview.

I have AT&T Internet 1000 only so I know I am using the correct @att.net account.

Error code when I attempt to sign on to HBO Max App and selecting AT&T as my provider: H-2d2a7e96-58c7-447a-ecca-741907925006

UGH

I’ve tried and tried again.

Resetting passwords, nothing works..

I had multiple choices for AT&T providers, but that’s now changed. It brings me to the AT&T login, and I sign in exactly like I do via the myAT&T app, and yet I get the same message with Service Code: H-8fef77ea-f4bd-4fe2-97a3-d0e7d69dd4b2

I have the 1Gig service, I received an email stating I have acces for free. My ATT account lists HBO Max as a service I have. (Last night that was ot working.) I do not have an att email, never did. I can login into my account with no problems. I am doing all this through my PC. I have reset my password. Once yesterday, and again this morning. Still no access. I saw your post above 'it works with our accounts', well thats nice, but it seems you have an issue with real accounts that needs to be fixed. I have selected the correct provider. I have Internet only. 1Gig, have it for over a year.

No. This may have worked for you. But does not work for me, and judging by these responses, it doesn't work for many others as well.

I am having the same issue as everyone else, fiber 1000 plan, using the exact UserID/pass than when login to MyATT in a browser or in the app.

Tried the regular UserID as well as the att.net email but same result.

Any help needed, thanks.

I spoke with a "Kane" in chat, they said that new customer access doesn't start until 5PM EST? I suspect that the issue may be due to an old HBO Go account that's been deactivated, wonder if it's having a sync issue there

Actually access was supposed to be in the morning. The 5 PM EST thing is just cuz they can't figure out the problem and are trying to get people to stop bugging them while they resolve it.

Doesn't work. I just get re-routed to my AT&T account overview.

Right now on my PC, using Edge browser this time (typically use Chrome) I am in an endless loop. From the AT&T website, I am in a loop that says "stay tuned while we add HBO Max to your account" and then flashes through a loop and the same message keeps popping up.

Okay, some how I was able to log in. Here's the thing though. When I click my account and billing info, it says "your HBO NOW subscription though Amazon App store expired on xdate"

Could the problems be that we had a subscription in the past to HBO Now that has expired, and now we're trying to sign up via our AT&T internet 1000 plan?
