Recycle satellite dish

How do I recycle an old Direct TV satellite dish?

Call around to various recycling places and see if they will take it. It will be your responsibility to remove if from your house though.

Thank you for your reply. I did not mention that I had already researched area recyclers and they do not take satellite dishes.

AT&T has a recycling program with mailing labels but I assumed it is for smaller electronics (set top boxes, modems, etc.)

Correct, the recycling program is for receiver/client boxes that are no longer required to be returned and you don't have convenient recycling.

 

The dish can go with metal recycling. Just take off the LNB (the "eye") as that is electronics recycling. So doesn't have to be a place that specifies receiving dishes.

I have removed the two LNBs from my old satellite dish. Can I send those two LNBs back to AT&T for electronics recycling via their recycling program?
