Moving our main direct receiver to another room.

Good Afternoon! we had our direct installed in our house in 2004 and back then techs were allowed to go in the attic. I had a tech out not to long ago and they said the couldn't go in the attic. We wanna move the direct receiver in our living room to another wall in the living room. The wall its on now goes from the box up to the attic and outside. The wall we want it on is an exterrior wall is it possible the techs can move the cable service to that wall?

I hadn't heard that techs can no longer go into attic spaces. While you might have to pay extra for an additional cable run, they should be able to do this for you.
