Internet Wi-fi access point

Hello,

My parents had the Genie 2 installed, but the Wi-Fi access point is causing problems with the router, and will not allow them to connect to their Sprint router.  Does anyone know if you can you shut off Internet Wi-Fi access point on the Genie 2 unit?

Thanks!

Hey @Bulldog4Life,

Let us help!

Since the Wireless Video Bridge is built into the Genie 2, the wireless capabilities cannot be disabled.

Reset the network defaults and exit without reconnecting.

I am not sure my parents would know how to do that. Do you step by step instructions?

Interesting…..how do we disable it? It has taken over, and they can use no internet at their home because of it. It has rendered the Sprint device inoperable.

Thank you.  Have you had anyone else complain of such issues?  Something has to give either AT&T or Sprint.  They do not play well together.  I can't believe there is no solution for this or that it was designed this way.
