We can certainly help with that dish pointing problem, @kayteelaw.

We don’t have any outages on the 99 satellite, so you should be able to find the signal, it may just be tricky for your current area. First things first, we’d recommend entering your location on our dish pointer website to get the rough azimuth and elevation for your location, and verify that's roughly where your dish is already pointing.

If the 101 has excellent signal strength, the problem may be with the tilt. Once you have the 101 in place, lock the azimuth and elevation and adjust the tilt one degree at a time. You may have to take this a bit slowly: even one or two degrees can make the difference between getting a solid signal or a poor/nonexistent signal.

Having said that, usually the 99 and the 103 satellites will align at roughly the same time. After these steps, if you’re still getting a strong signal on the 101 and 103, but nothing on the 99, you may have to contact your dish manufacturer.

Let us know if you have any other questions on this @kayteelaw!
