Your TV does not support this program's content protection. Replacing the TV's HDMI cable with component cables will allow you to view the program. This happens on every channel. Just started happening today.
I'm running a Genie HR44 with two mini-genie's. Everything was installed last week and worked perfectly until today. My bedroom TV will now show picture for 10 seconds before giving this error message. It does this for every channel, not just premiums. I understand that older TV's don't have HDCP, and this particular TV is 8 years old. But why would it work for 8 days and then start to do this? Customer support advised me to order a component cable that plugs into the 10-pin jack in the mini-genie, but dang it, I like my one-cord HDMI and don't really want to replace it with FIVE cables. I'm also without TV in the bedroom until FedEx delivers this part in hopefully three days. Is this really a HDCP issue? On every channel? Is there any workaround that will allow me to keep my HDMI?
