Recordings gone after this latest update July 7 2019

All my recordings were gone today. The DVR was updating when I turned it on and when it came back they are gone. I have reset the DVR and nothing Please help

Nor -Have I - I was responding to the information given - I would suggest you have the DVR replaced as that may be a sign the HD is failing so DO not waste time saving anymore show to it and start fresh with a New unit -1-800-531-5000

Were you using the internal HD of the receiver? or did you have a Larger External Drive you were using?  If your using the Internal HD - then the only way to get recording back are to re-record them at a latter time. Can you record a Show since the update?

 

If you were using a Larger External Drive - Unplug the receiver (POWER up) the external drive connected to the receiver -Then Plug the receiver back in and power it up -it should see the External drive with your old recordings on it.
