Program didn't record due to programming update (13)

Several times, a program hasn't recorded and it says it's due to a programming update (13). What is this? It NEVER happened until AT&T took over. Not once.

This usually means that the station/network updated or changed their guide information. We recommend resetting your DIRECTV receiver to allow the guide to download the most up-to-date information. We apologize about the inconvenience!

This happened when I had the Vice Presidential Debate scheduled to record.  I had planned on watching it later, but found that the scheduled recording had been cancelled.  Sounds like a ploy.

Has this happened before? Are you seeing the same error mentioned here? 

 

If you're not sure how to see the error you can go to List > Recording Manager (Top Right) > Recording History > Select the cancelled recording.
