No sound but I have a picture.

My sound is not working with my direct tv box, but I have a picture.The sound works perfectly fine if I am connected to my house antenna.
I have checked all of my cables, replaced old hdmi cord. Reset the box, reset my controller. But still no sound

DVR/Receiver model number?

How exactly is the DVR/Receiver connected to your TV? Soundbar? AV Receiver?

Did this ever work? When did the problem start?

Let me get you model number. It started Friday morning. Worked fine Thursday night . We have a sound bar , but we disconnected it when all of this happened and switched to just the tv speakers . Still no sound. It is on all channels.
