no guide info for local CBS in AK

So DirecTV switched the local CBS channel from ch. 13 to 26 and there is no guide info on the TV.  I can't DVR anything because it says to be announced.  It has been this way since Friday 9/18/2020.  I have reported it to DirecTV but still nothing fixed after 5 days

We know how frustrating incorrect info in the guide can be, let’s troubleshoot this by following these steps.


  • Tune away from the current channel.
  • Run a System Diagnostic Test.
    • Press MENU button on remote
    • Press select on "Settings"
    • Scroll through and find “Info & Test”
    • Press select on "Info & Test"
    • Press select on "Run System Test”
    • Press dash [-] button below the number 7 on the remote
    • Wait for test to finish
  • If the test returns a diagnostic code or message look it up on our support page for further assistance, otherwise continue
  • Has the receiver been reset or lost power in the past 48 hours?
    • Receiver or power interruptions may cause a loss of guide data. Guide data will automatically repopulate over the next 48 hours.

If none of the above steps help we recommend resetting the system and then waiting 48 hours for the guide information to return.
