Msg your receiver isn’t authorized to record this program.

when i try to record a program on the Hallmark channel, i get the msg ’Your receiver isn’t auhorized to record this program.’ i have always been able to record Hallmark. why can’t i now? i can’t find a phone # to contact Directv.

First thing to try is resetting your DVR using the red reset button. The DirecTV phone number is in my signature below.
