How how do I get my genie hr44 to show incoming landline phone numbers. The numbers just stopped coming up after a storm caused the receiver to reset

Unfortunately you cannot anymore.

Caller ID on TV is an outdated feature that hasn't been supported for years, but left to run as-is in the old software.

The new GUI software removes menu options for outdated features.

New boxes do not even have a phone jack.

The HR44 is the last to have a phone jack, but is the earliest model to receive the new GUI so means once the feature stops working then there is no way to get it back.

You can't. DircTV has stopped supporting callerID. Newer DVRs don't even have a phone connector.
