DVR tying up my recordings with a channel I don't get! Annoying!

This can happen with series recordings when they are set up for all channels instead of a specific channel. 


The best way to check this is List > Up Arrow to Recording Manager (top right) > Series Manager. On this list on the right it will show you the channel number it's set to record on or it will say "All Channels."


If you see any with "All Channels" you can click on that show > on the left go down to upcoming airings > highlight one of the shows on the channel you get listed on the right > press the record button twice to set the series record on that channel. 


The "All Channels" option is useful for sports teams since they tend to air on different channels as well as reruns, particularly of older show that will sometimes run on multiple channels as well.
