Downloading from DVR to iPad

I have been trying to watch programs from my DVR on my iPad. I have Auto Prepare on and when I click on the green arrow to download it says its putting it in the queue. When I go to the queue it always says “waiting”. I have left that page open but it never does anything. It’s been open for hours but all it says is “waiting”. It used to work, with the green thermometer bar, telling me how much time is left for downloading but now it only says “waiting “. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

We are here to help you with your mobile DVR, @Kchaney.

 

We recommend that you make sure your mobile DVR is registered. You have to be on the same network as your receiver, because if you are not the functionality may not work. We also suggest that you make sure the app is updated.

Thank you for your help. I did have my device registered and on the same network. But I had not updated anything so I found something that said I need to “refresh” occasionally to be sure it is up to date. So I “refreshed” and that seemed to do the trick!  Thank you.
