Pandora and iHeart app - no sound

The same symptoms appeared almost a year ago.  Then disappeared after many discussions with Directv and new equipment provided by Directv. 

 

The symptoms are back.  When I go to the Pandora and iHeat app to listen to music, the proper video screens appear, however I receive an error message that reads "playback failed, No audio/video data packets received from server".  I have reset the tower and the mini's several times.  No solution to the problem.  Can someone provide some guidance?  Directv tech stated the mini's were NOT compatible with the tower, but the do NOT have any updated/compatible equipment that resolves this issue.

Do you also have AT&T internet?

How is your receiver connected to the internet, via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable?

I am also now having the same problem after years of good service. I have AT&T internet. The DVR receiver has the problem as well as some of the wireless boxes. I have reset the Genie as well as the DVR. I have spoken to tech support twice and am still having the problem. I should mention that my internet speed was upgraded last week. Any suggestions?

Directv is shipping 4K mini receivers to replace current mini receivers to solve this issue.
Receiver is the large tower.
Yes, have AT&T internet. Connected receiver through Wi-Fi.

I have the same problem. The Pandora app works fine but there is no audio for the iHeart app. The iHeart app loads, I am logged in, can see the song that is playing but there is no audio. I have reset the Genie, reset the router/modem, am wireless but iHeart app has no audio. I can load iHeart app directly from my Vizio TV and it works fine but not through the Directv cable box.
