NFL Sunday Ticket App

Unable to log on to the NFL Sunday Ticket App on iPhone, iPad, or AppleTV.  Called customer service.  After 45 minute wait, was told that my NFL Sunday Ticket should be working.  They sent me code to reset my account password.  After resetting password (I know it worked because I can access my account on my computer) the NFL Sunday Ticket App still didn’t work.  This issue has been going on for the past two weeks.  I have spend more than four hours on the phone (mostly on hold) trying to get help,  but am still unsuccessful.  The whole reason I have Direct TV is so that my son can stream NFL games at college.  If they can’t make it work, I guess I switch to Dish...

Frustrated!

Let's get you streaming, @dnmorris!

Thanks for resetting your password, that is always the best first step.

Did you have NFL Sunday Ticket in previous years? If so, we do recommend deleting any apps and downloading a fresh version.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, we would recommend changing your email. Since you have access to your online account, this can be done there without the need to call in! Once it's changed, verify that you can get into the apps. From there, it's advised to just stick with the new email but I know some that have changed it back with success if the email is important to you.

If you are still having issues, let us know or check out our NFL Sunday Ticket Help Center

I have already uninstalled and re-installed the app.  Passwords have also been changed.  I don’t have multiple emails, so changing email is not a viable (or reasonable) solution.

Thanks for the quick response, @dnmorris!

Thanks for deleting and reinstalling the app. The email address change doesn't necessarily need to be permanent. If your son or another family member has an email that you can temporarily use to reset the online account, that is fine. If you don't have a second email address to test this on, you can register a new one at Currently.com by following our simple free email guide. If you run into issues with that, you can also register a free email address at a different provider. Changing the email address will refresh your services when a password reset does not resolve the issue.

After we get everything working again, changing it back should not be a problem.
