I can’t log into my DIRECTV app

I either get told my user name and password don’t match up with their files or whoops you entered a invalid character

We're always here to help! Were you able to login into the App before now? Do you have an AT&T Access ID? If not, please Create an Access ID or Find it if you already have one.

I get these errors. I use my ATT ID but the Direct App says it doesn’t recognize it.

Same here.  I can't get help on this problem anywhere so trying this forum.  I can log into my AT&T account OK, but that same info does not work with the DirectTV app.  If I follow links to find my access ID, there is a second account ID there which I've never seen or setup, but that also does not work to start the app, and attempts to combine the IDs (provided by AT&T) do nothing but take me to a page asking if I'm sure this is the ID I want to combine (whichever one I select).  Then I'm taken to an unrelated page having nothing to do with combining IDs!!  So it is a useless circle of getting nothing done, and no way to find a solution.  I've deleted the DirectTV app as a result of this ridiculous hassle, but if anyone knows the solution this problem (it is impossible to contact AT&T directly about anything except sales) please reply and I can try again.  Very frustrating!
