HBO GO

Why is Direct TV not compatible with HBO GO on the Firestick after July 31, 2020? All of my electronics are less than 8 months old. Has something changed?

Do you mean that your DTV login will no longer work after the 31?

Looks like the HBO GO app is being replaced with the HBO MAX one. Instead of separate apps for the different access they are just unifying one app and your level of service determines what you can access (i.e. DirecTV with HBO vs HBO Max only).

HBO GO will be shut down on July 31st. You may use the new HBO app if you already subscribed to HBO. Eligible AT&T customers are eligible for HBO Max if they have qualified wireless, Internet, or TV services. Please visit this link for more detail.
