Error 102

I keep getting this error on my iPhone. No one else is streaming in my household as far as we can tell. How can we determine what other device is streaming beyond my own?

ive also uninstalled this app on my device and reinstalled it. Could that be causing the issue too?

It's understood that you're attempting to use the DIRECTV app on your iPhone, but unfortunately have encountered an error. Be assured, we will do our best to assist you with a resolution. 


With the "102" error, that would usually mean that you have allotted all live TV streams. Each account is limited to five concurrent Live TV streams at a time. 


Since you have confirmed no other devices are streaming, reboot your main HD/DVR or Genie receiver. After reboot, since you're using an iOS device, open the settings on your iPhone then choose TV provider and then sign out.


After signing out, delete the DIRECTV app again. Once you have done that, re-install again. Once installed, log back in. If there are continued issues, try resetting your password for to '"re-sync" your profile. In some cases a password reset can resolve various streaming errors on the app.
