Directv App

I can’t get the Directv app for iPad to work, is it still working?

Let’s get your entertainment back.


The DirecTV app for iPad is functioning and we have not had any recent outages. We may need to determine if the issue also affects our website.  You can do this by going to and attempting to sign in there. If you have no trouble we can start troubleshooting the app.


To begin we recommend making sure you have updated your iOS to the latest iOS 14 if possible.


Next we will follow these steps to ensure the application is ready to use.

  • Make sure the DirecTV application is updated
  • Uninstall/Reinstall the app
  • Restart the device
  • Go to device Settings and select TV Provider > Sign Out
  • Go to the app and log in
