Directv app not working

When redownloading app. It says unknown error   I press ok, it directs me to the App Store where I open downloaded app. It take me to sign in screen. I attempt to login , but it tells me “whoops! It looks like you have entered an invalid character”.

 

I log into my account with these exact login username and password no problems. It just doesn’t allow the app to use them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. This has been going on for weeks.

Let us help!

 

We have found that special characters in passwords can cause issues when signing in, so you can try resetting your password. We have also found that on iOS devices, disabling DIRECTV as TV Provider in the settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then trying to sign in to the app again also helps.

This didn't work for me. I'm having the same problem on my Android devices. The message I receive is: "Login Failed. Error 100001 - Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.


I hadn't  changed my password and used to be able to login into the app then all of a sudden I couldn't and would instead receive this error message.  I've since taking out the one special character I had in my password yet it still gives me the same message.
