directv app downloads randomly

The directv app on my ios phone is spotty when it comes to downloading the recordings from the receiver. I have tried resetting the receiver and reinstalled the app twice, but it didn’t work. Selecting “DVR Auto Prepare” does not help either since it turns itself off the moment I click done. Can anybody suggest a solution to this problem?

We see that you already tried resetting your receiver and uninstalling the app, but we have some more troubleshooting steps you should try in our article on App Help & Sign In Solutions. Under the section titled App Troubleshooting, you'll find the suggestions to verify that you're running the current version of iOS and to restore your iPhone.
