I cannot get my direct tv app to work on my iphone anymore. Worked fine until this morning. I have uninstalled and restarted phone but not working

I'd be happy to help you get the DirecTV app working again. I will provide you with all of the instructions I can here for you. Please read through all of the instructions to find out where the issue is and what to do next.
First we need to determine if the issue also affects our website. You can do this by going to Directv.com and attempting to sign in there. From the information you have provided me, the website should provide the same error message. If you are able to log into this website, then this is an issue with the app specifically.

Directv app is still not working. I have also reached out to AT&T and all they had to offer were suggestions and never got a solution. At the end it was go to the App Store and report the issue to the third party who created the app. Really it is your app that we use to get your service and essentially you are blaming the third party app. Way to pass the buck AT&T. You are one step closer of losing a 13 plus year customer.
I have the same issue going on for my iPhone 7+. I’ve tried deleting/re-installing the app, enter my login/pw and it opens successfully at first...shows on the screen what was last viewed, but the rest of the content doesn’t load, can’t get into my DVR, exc. When I close out of the app and reopen, it says an unknown error has occurred and bumps me to the App Store to the Uverse app. SMH I know it’s not my login/pw issue, I was able to successfully login to the DTV.com website using my current login/pw.
They must be having big time problems.... trying to logon to the Directv App on my iphone... type in user ID... my pass word... acts like it is logging in and pops up with... ERROR... Unknown error.
Looking at the Community topics... this issue is starting to pop up today with todays date.
They must have done something last night... cause issues today.
I used to just use my TouchID on my iphone... but when I did it this morning... it went to a Logon Screen... then all the issues to logon.
This has been happening to me as well today. This is like to worse app, its never consistent. What is the point of having it if it never works.

There was a temporary outage this morning. Should be working again now.
the app and the website aren't allowing me on. App says unknown error and the website tells me i'm trying to log into my ATT account..
there was an outage yesterday what was resolved. If are not able to sign in, you may need to create a new AT&T access ID. This article goes over that and has additional troubleshooting steps.

The website is still rejecting and sending to att account managment.
As of 5/23/18 the directv app is still not working on my iPhone 7plus. Does anyone care? This is going on 2 months now. I would think with directv and att being as big as they are, this would have been fixed by now.
I was told by AT&T chat if my DirectTV is bundled on my AT&T account I am no longer able to use the DirectTV app but would have to use the my AT&T app to manage/view/use all DirectTV stuff.
I have had this problem for months. I have an iPhone 8, and iPad, and iPhone sevens for work, and a Samsung galaxy’s and Afters not work on any of the devices and I get a different error message on each device. I have called many times and they say either call back in 24 hours, call back in two hours, or we will call you. I have been dealing with them for months with no solution whatsoever. Anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I would like to use my devices to watch the recorded programs on my DVR.
