Hello @directvjack,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Please check out this awesome support article which offers the correct address to send mail to DirecTV. This would be the best course of action to take in this case.

I hope you find this information helpful. Have a great rest of your day!

I talked to AT&T/Directv today with the same question,

AT&T/Directv Customer Service

I am sitting next to my fiance, who's on the phone right now with direct TV, and he got a different address. We have gotten the run around from five different people, most refusing to give us information. The address we got was

2230 E Imperial Hwy, El Segundo CA 90245

They said the P.O. box above was for billing and payments.

We actually just wanted a phone number to speak with someone.

To speak with someone over the phone you call 1-800-531-5000 for customer service. There are no other numbers publicly listed to anything like "Corporate" if that is what you are after. If such numbers were listed, too many people would unnecessarily skip over customer service.

You don't mail the equipment back.  You take the equipment, along with your DirecTV account number, to a nearby UPS or FedEx shipping center.

This is not helpful at all.  I want an EMAIL address for DirecTV Customer Service.  I have a complaint that has not been addressed with any "chat" I have had!

You wont' find an email address because there isn't one.

@Pooky1962 ATT/Directv does not do customer support via email. No customer support email address exists.

Sorry you didn't find this thread helpful. Bottom line, there is no email address for DirecTV customer service. Calling and the online chat option are you speak with DirecTV. Alternatively you could use the forum to discuss your situation, but remember we are customers like yourself, so we can give some guidance but have no account access.

They don't want you to have a physical address because a mob would show up and burn the office down.  AT&T/DirecTV are the biggest crooks in the business. They billed be for a month after I cancelled my service. After 90 minutes on the phone, transfered 5 times to 5 different people, I got 5 different reasons why it happened .they are all liars. Since I don't trust you, I closed my bank account so you can't bill me again .

DirecTV itself is not crooked, but I will agree there are sketchy agents out there (no company is immune). A big issue is AT&T migrating DirecTV accounts and transfer systems to AT&T integrated systems. This has caused a lot of problems for transfers, changes processing, and information provided. Such as some agents, whom I assume are new from the AT&T side, quote AT&T information for DirecTV products and services causing confusion.

Sounds like your cancellation didn't initially go through, or at least scheduled later than you wanted. Hope you got that straightened out after the transfers. Having 5 different reasons doesn't make everybody a liar. After all wrong assumptions or misunderstanding something on the account could also account for an agent giving incorrect information. Even so, it is still impressive to get 5 different reasons for the same thing (if the reasons were completely different).

However we are not billing you at all. We do not have access to your bank account. We are customers like yourself. This is a customer to customer forum, not DirecTV support. If you still have any billing concerns you will have to call DirecTV 1-800-531-5000. As a note when canceling the account you take any receiver/client boxes with their access cards still inside, and your account number, to a participating FedEx or UPS (not USPS) location for your free return after the last day of service (cannot be returned while boxes are still active on the account). You have 21 days from last day of service before you are billed any non-return fees (NRF). Only if they are returnable models of course.

I believe El Segundo is the corporate HQ. I sent a letter there a few weeks ago and, of course, haven't heard a thing.

I needed to stop them from automatically charging an empty house for DTV service.  Last time they charged me a full year before I got them to return half of it. I refused to be automatically billed to my debit card after that. Which is what they just did again!  An address is on nothing these days. Went through my bills and no mailing address......
