promotions

My promotion has expired this month, when I called to find out about getting a new promotion I was told there was none available.  I have been a customer for ten years.  I guess there are no promotions for loyalty.  I do not want to change my package.  I am considering changing carriers.

I have these numbers for what it is worth:

877-999-1083    Retention Dept

866-595-2871   Loyalty Dept

I'm not sure if these are old numbers.  Then try 800-531-5000 and say "Cancel."  I am under the impression you will reach someone with more experience.   Good luck

AT&T's CEO stated months ago there will be no more discounts for existing customers.

I’ve been a customer for 25 years and I don’t get new customer promotions. It’s standard billing practices

@Arlobella

Promotions were pulled back months ago. Too many people skating by on discounts operating at a loss or close to it. If you cannot afford it without discounts, then you cannot afford it and should reduce package to within your budget. It is up to you to manage what you are comfortable affording, not them. Pay TV is a luxury, not a necessity. They are not built for those with limited income as they are neither a necessity or a charity.

To my understanding loyalty, retention, and cancellations are just different names for the same department. I find loyalty used as is more friendly to the customer as opposed to what it is officially called.
