Payment Address Change?

I have always paid my DirecTV bill through bill pay with a major national bank. Never had an issue, payment address on record for DTV was PO Box 54000, Los Angeles CA 900054-1000. Bill pay usually transmits electronically, but for some reason last month a Bill Pay check had to be mailed. When I contacted DirecTV to inquire I was given a completely different mailing address than what it has always been in past and subsequently the check was returned by DirecTV.

PO Box 5400 when googled can easily be found as a DirecTV payment location and can also be found on DirecTV's website as well. Anyone have similar issues? I am hesitant to pay bill via bill pay again and and frustrated I had to spend as much time tracking this down not to mention the late fee that I was subsequently charged. Seems since AT&T merger the service has gone down.

We're sorry about the mix up! For DirecTV service, you can mail your payment to either P.O. Box 105503 Atlanta, GA 30348 or P.O. Box 5014 Carol Stream, IL 60197. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Can you explain to me why two payments I made through my bank’s bill pay, cannot be located? The payments went into an old account instead of my current one. I have called customer service several times but no one can seem to find these two payments. I even have proof of payment from my bank. The dates of payment were 1-22-19 and 1-31-19. Someone has my money and I refuse to pay that again. Ever since At&t took over, it has been a headache. Once this issue is resolved, I will be leaving Dtv!
