New customer was supposed to have installed today.

New customer and was supposed to get equipment installed today between 12 and 4. No one showed so u called and they said I had an outstanding balance which I do not have. Someone should've told me that sunday when I signed up if that was the case

This is a customer to customer forum. You will need to call Directv 1-800-531-5000 to discuss the outstanding balance before starting service. Yes it would have been nice to know that when placing the order, but depending on who you ordered through (3rd party retailer, AT&T store, etc.) or processing time it took some time to catch the old balance. Not getting a notification call or email though is surprising.
