Need extra time to make a payment? Not to worry, you can make arrangements online!
Over The Phone!
1. Dial (800) 531-5000.
2. At main menu, say: "I need a Payment Extension".
3. You will hear: "Would you like to extend your Service Interruption Date?"
4. Say "Yes".
On The Web!
1. Log into your account at directv.com
2. Go to My Account page.
3. Click on Paying Late?
4. Follow the instructions as prompted and choose the date that works for you.

An extension of up to 5 days can be placed. With payment extension you have until 11:59PM ET on the extension, which can vary depending on what date you chose, for your payment to post to your account to avoid interruption.
