HBO go

I have a bundled DirectTV/AT&T Internet/Mobile account, and I have HBO as part of my DirecTV package. As part of the HBO Go activation process for AppleTV (or just to sign into the HBO Go site), after selecting DirecTV as provider, you are taken to a DirecTV sign-in screen to validate that you are an HBO subscriber.

My userID and PW - which are valid for signing onto the DirecTV or myAT&T site - do not work in this sign-in screen. Sat on chat forever with no reply. Has anyone solved this issue?
