DIRECT TV VISA GiIFT CARD SCAM
When I signed up for direct tv I was promised a $100.00 gift card.. I was not told that there was an expiration date. When I received the card I activated it and put it away until I was going to make a large purchase. I didn't review the card other than to look at the card number.
I was told by the Direct TV salesman that I could use it at any time. When I activated it there was no mention of an expiration date............................
When I tried to use it I was told by the store that it had expired.
I signed up for Direct TV because of the incentives now I am getting screwed over by the company. I have tried in the past to be reissued another $100.00 gift card but every time I call someone in customer service I get put on hold forever, passed along to to multiple people whose English is very hard to understand or just get hung up on.
I pay my AT&T bill on time and have been a loyal customer you would think a Company such as AT&T would be loyal to their customers. You know they are aware of how badly they run their customers around in circles when they call call customer service with a problem such as this. I'm sure that if I tried to cancel my service they would charge me the cancellation fee.

Hi @vamc11,
Reward expiration dates are printed clearly on your notification letter, so please take note of the "Claim by Date" shown. The date is also available on the Reward Tracker for each reward(s). You will have a minimum of 30 days to claim your reward from the time you receive your Reward Notification letter. If any of these reasons do not apply to you please contact the AT&T Reward Center for assistance, click the Contact Us link for further assistance.
Thank you for reaching out to AT&T's Community and Forums Team.

At least you got a card. I know it is a rip off to have it expire. I never received mine. Treated like I was crazy for even asking for one when clearly that’s partially why I signed up. I’m out now, waiting for final bill and early term. I’ll never be a directv customer again, even if it was free for life.
