Charged for late fee and taxes on a "non-return" fee that was unfounded to begin with

I was charged a non-return fee incorrectly on a receiver with Directv. I spoke with an agent who assured me the fee would be removed. Two weeks later, I get a late fee because the agent never removed the fee. I spoke with an agent at this point who told me she could remove the non-return fee, but WOULD NOT REMOVE the late fee or the taxes that came with the non-return fee. She acknowledged the fact that the previous agent messed up and did not removed the fee like he said, yet they still made me pay the late fee and taxes. This is ridiculous. Has Anyone else had an issue like this and found out how to get it resolved?

Hello @bkdarnell123,

That's not the experience we want anyone to have, let's see what we can do. I'll be inviting you to a PM (private message) to further investigate. Please look in your inbox for a message from me.

Can you help me with a new issue?

My directv bill jumped up this month. I believe it was due to a $55 discount that went away. I was told last fall that discount would remain for another year since I bought an additional HD DVR which locked me into a one year contract.

I just wanted to take a minute and acknowledge my experience here. The AT&T representative went above and beyond to resolve my problem. He was very helpful and understanding.
