Billing past due
I received on September 22 2020 in my email the attached letter. Which stated that if i paid the outstanding balance it would be reduced by 50% and all reconnect fees would be credited from my account.
Luz of technical support is the person that told me this is a fraudulent letter which really bothers me because how would someone get my account information and know that i had fallen behind on my bill.
Then Luz gave me the email address of [email scrubbed] to send a copy of this email and i received back a email stating i should get my email addresses correct.
I also am alittle upset because i paid the bill of 155.35 expecting to be credited for half being 77.67 which would cover almost all of Octobers bill which would really have helped me out.
I had contacted Direct tv on September 17 2020 and was going to discontinue service all together because it was getting to expensive and i was given by the tech that day a promotional offer of 60.0 less if i would stay with your company. Which i agreed to.
Bottom line to all of this, is, that I should still receive 50% reduction a credit in the amount of 77.67 towards my bill which i paid in full on 9/23/2020 please.
Attached you will find the screen shots of the email that i received from att stating that i could get a 50% redction in my bill. Fraud or not i did no wrong so i should still receive the benefit that was promoted by said letter.
