Repurposing Digital Life Camera
Previous person in home left me with their old digital life network camera (OC432). I would like to connect it to my network via the PoE adapters WPS function. There are no issues with my internet connection WiFi and Ethernet are fine through Modem and another router I have in another room. When I first attempted this I was able to view the device details in my modem settings. Initially I was able to connect to the Network Camera via WPS and opened the Cam in the browser by entering the IP of the camera. At this point I saw the device in the modem settings and it listed it as 'connected'. I was prompted with a username and password when viewing the network cam in browser, which I had no way of knowing since previous owner didn't know. I did some research and made the mistake of doing a reset on the camera device itself. Now that I reset it, I am unable to establish a connection to the PoE adapter via WPS and the device is no longer listed in the modem settings on one machine. On another machine (connected via ethernet to my router in another room) will sometimes show the device as present, but it(router) will not connect with it either.
I have tried the basics. There is power to the camera. Green light is on and power-ethernet cord works. I have tried to connect the camera close to both the modem and the other router. Distance is not an issue. I also contacted ATT connect tech about this issue. All they did was try and sell me a service to remote connect to my desktop to fix the issue. I am not interested in that. If the issue can be fixed by remote connection, shouldn't I be able to do it myself or does the tech have some passwords that I would need in order to fix this issue? Im not the smartest on a computer when it comes to networking, but I have a little experience and am able to learn. I would like to solve this issue myself and not pay $50 for someone I dont know to connect to my machine. Has anyone had this issue? If so is there any documentation you can refer me to so I can do this myself?
Thank you to the community for being here and taking the time to read this. I live in a high crime area and have small children living with me. Id appreciate your swift input. Last week 3 trucks on the block were broken into and 1 was stolen. Im trying to help my community out by keeping an eye out, as well as watch my own house.

Did you ever by chance find a solution to this? I would like to do the same thing and I'm having a hard time finding any resources? Thank you. Jason

I had to do a hard reset (the hole marked "reset" with a paper clip) at which time I was able to take ownership of the camera.
Here are the paths to the video sources:
Sercomm OC432

I use the vga and mjpeg streams. Here is the full format

Replace 192.168.1.1 with the address or url of your camera.
You do NEED to do a hard reset on this camera to take control of it.
I have heard that there are some which have the firmware burnt into them
and you cannot do the above.
If anyone knows if this unit will use PoE I would certainly like to know.

here is a video on how to reuse your OC432. Don't bother calling ATT, they will not help you.

The streaming links from Garrobo are great! Thanks garrobo
