Recessed door sensor

I had problems with the recessed door sensor.  Getting a message to replace the battery, that was done and the sensor still not work. I was sent a new sensor with a new battery.  The new battery lasted a week and again, the message shows replace the battery.  Is there anything else that can be causing the batteries to drain so soon?  Should a repairman be requested?

Today a new sensor arrived in the mail.  Also, an AT&T digital life repairman came and installed a new sensor.  So far so good.  I will wait a week or so to before mailing the sensor back.  I hope this the final fix.  Thank you for your help.

@mtct652  Hello. I was able to locate your account information via the email address that you used for the forum. I had one of our technical folks take a look at the sensor on the back end and it is registering low. I have submitted your information over to one of our internal specialists and they will be reaching out to you directly via phone to set up an appointment for a technician to come out and resolve the issue for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, I just received a new recessed sensor.  I've replaced the defective one with the new one.  How do I program the alarm to see the new sensor?  Thank you for your help.
