legal issues
We just had our digitial life security system installed. We live in a condominium in California, we have a front and back camera and our neighbor took photos of our cameras and the next day our HOA attorney sent us a warning to remove our cameras or a lawsuit would follow.
Has anybody else faced issues like this? Is this right? Is it illegal to have security cameras on our condominium? If so, why doesn't AT&T advise us of these laws before purchase and installation?

Unfortunately AT&T would not know the details of you HOA, therefore would not know where cameras cannot be installed. I suggest that you review the guidelines of your HOA or contact the attorney to determine what rule you are in violation by having the camera mounted. There may be places where cameras cannot be installed, but also specifics on where they can be installed. Once you have determined what you can and cannot do, we would be able to relocate the camera to comply with your HOA.
Hope this helps.
