Keypad says communication error

Keypad says communication error.   There is power, New batteries, Bill is paid.  I can arm and disarm from my phone and alarm will sound if I open door etc.   What can I do to fix this.

Try pulling the keypad off the base and pressing the button on the back

I pushed the button in the back and it said, discovery failed... What next?

Hi. Was this ever resolved?  Have the same issue. Att has been worthless with offering no help. Considering disconnecting the service.
